This property is located at the end of Cerro Gordo Road in Santa Fe’s Historic Eastside District and is designated as a Historic Contributing Structure. The Santa Fe River runs across the southern edge of this lovely site, with great views of the Sangre de Christo foothills.
The home was once owned by Gretta Garbo’s brother and was used by her as a quiet get away from her busy acting career.
Working closely with Santa Fe’s Historic Design Review Board, we preserved the original Adobe and Pueblo Style exterior flavor of the design, but added modern updates to the interior kitchen, bathrooms and living areas. The main house’s primary bedroom boasts a walk-in steam shower along with a deep soaking tub. Indoor and outdoor living is accommodated with multiple patios and courtyards which take advantage of shade trees and the mountain views.
