Salvador Perez Park, located at the intersection of Alta Vista Street and Saint Francis Drive, has been beloved by the Santa Fe community for over fifty years. It hosts a number of sports leagues, youth programs, and family-friendly events and is frequently used by elders in the neighborhood. Many of the buildings on the park grounds have become derelict and the programming is no longer accessible and conducive to its users’ needs. We worked with the City, Surroundings Studio, and Facility Build to develop a comprehensive master plan for the Park, which will be implemented over the next five years. Phase 1, pictured above, features new landscaping, parking lot, and drainage around the existing Recreation Complex.
