“GREEN” Building Practice

Our office has been developing our own “Green” Building Practices for the past twenty years. We specialize in the following:

• sustainable, low impact building materials, such as adobe
• non-toxic low VOC materials and finishes
• minimizing reliance on fossil fuels for heating and cooling
• careful site and building planning to maximize the use of daylight and effective passive solar heating and cooling
• maximize the use of local building materials, keeping transportation costs to a minimum

We will also gladly pursue LEED Accreditation, or LEED equivalent designs, for our client’s projects.
