Rain Water Catchment & Waste Water Recycling

Casa Mirasol,
Ojo Caliente, New Mexico.

Waste water is separated into grey and black lines for recycling in the garden. With 18 inches of rainfall per year and a 1,200 sf roof collecting area, the system gains approximately 18,000 gallons per year or 50 gallons per day usage. Biodegradable soaps and cleaners are used which break down in the grey water irrigation system.
