Rio Rancho Public Schools (RRPS) contracted our firm in the Spring of 2012 for design professional services to repair the existing storefront window systems, paint the exterior of the buildings, and provide a new way-finding system. After a field assessment was completed, we worked with RRPS staff to develop a programmatic scope of work. We determined that the storefront window and door systems would be renovated using aluminum framing, the color palette for the buildings would be part of the way-finding system, and that new wall-mounted and pole-mounted signage would be used for the way-finding system. Emergency lighting was also added at the main entrance to the facility.
