These Espanola District roofing projects were in conjunction with PSFA and included two separate sites: a Multipurpose Building at Chimayo Elementary School and the entire facility at Hernandez Elementary School. Both roofs were to be replaced with a new TPO membrane fastened using the induction welding RhinoBond system. The 7,500 sq. ft. Multipurpose Building at Chimayo Elementary School required a total tear-off and replacement. It also included replacement of the gutter and downspout system and coping. The nearly 32,000 sq. ft. facility at Hernandez Elementary required a partial tear-off and replacement. Major modifications will be made to the drainage system, removing the existing canales and replacing them with a new scupper and downspout system. 9,700 sq. ft. of this facility kept it’s existing roof with the membrane laid over the top of it. Both projects came in on time and under budget.
